Savva Savas, single dad of twin boys, entrepreneur and podcaster, is the founder of PLATED: The event caterer and creator and host of the PLATED: Three Food Memories podcast.

Hospitality impresario, Savva Savas is a captivating conversationalist in the Australian food scene and for more than 25 years has contributed food experiences to some of Australia’s premiere events and intimate gatherings,  through his catering company PLATED. Clients include Gucci, Ferrari, Prada, Hermes, The Powerhouse and SXSW. In this time, Savva has collected a large body of conversation around food uncovering endless memories connecting experiences, people and moments in time. 

His passion for food and how the experience of food connects with people extends far beyond the kitchen. He is the driving force behind his podcast, PLATED: Three food memories, where Savva brings to life his belief that food, and the importance it has in our lives, is a driver of social connection, and can help bring about positive change in the world.

Of Greek Cypriot heritage,  Savva was raised in a close-knit extended family home in Sydney and later on their working farm on the Central Coast, where both his parents were able to continue using the agricultural skills and paddock to plate practices that they grew up with.  Gatherings around food and the celebration of, remain engrained memories for him.
